Among the indicators that I have morphed into a different creature during the pajamapocalypse, is my obsession with little plants in tiny jars and bowls. It started practically, as I wanted to root cuttings of plants from the garden of the old house. I started saving jars – all shapes and sizes – and filling them with bits of succulents that broke off here and there. After a while, they kind of took over. This one is in my office, but the bulk of my weird little collection lines a long shelf beneath the living room window at home. A bit of Aeonium in an old Soy Sauce bottle is my current favorite. If you come back around, you’ll likely see it soon.
